Amboseli National Park is located in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya. The ecosystem is mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. An Elephant in Amboseli National Park with the Backdrop of Mt.Kilimanjaro.

3 Days Amboseli and Tsavo West Wildlife Safari

Amboseli National Park is the vantage point to view the African Highest Mountain – The Mt. Kilimanjaro. It is also known for big herds of Elephants. The game drives here are done late in the evening and early in the evening due to the weather pattern. It is very hot during the day and hence most of the animals are lazy and not easy to spot.
We also have the Maasai Tribe who can be visited in their Manyattas {The Maasai Tradional Houses which are built by women}.



On a lucky day early in the morning, you will be able to view of Kilimanjaro on a clear day. In addition to Elephants, Antelopes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffaloes and the rare Black Rhinos, Amboseli National Park is sought after by travelers in the know for its breathtaking scenery and easily approachable wildlife.  On our package also includes Tsavo West National Park, with special attractions of Mzima Springs and underwater Hippo watching, Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary among others. Tsavo West National Park is unique and its habitat include open plains alternating with Savannah bush and semi desert scrub, acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops and more extensive ranges and isolated hills.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning, drive across the Athi plains home of the proud Maasai tribe, to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch with an afternoon game drive. In addition to Elephants, Antelopes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffaloes and the elusive Leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park
We will enjoy early morning game drive then depart  after breakfast to Tsavo West National Park. You arrive in time for lunch followed by evening game drive.
Tsavo West National Park covers 20,808sq km (8,034sq miles), The Park comprises a diversity of habitats, open plains alternating with Savannah bush and semi-desert scrub; acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Hyena and a herd of over 3,500 Elephants.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park – Nairobi
Enjoy early morning game drive, then depart after breakfast to Nairobi to end your safaris.
